Description:
Low yields are required in Chateauneuf du Pape to keep quality high. Demand is also high, so you will rarely find a bottle in the U.S. below $30, which makes this another real bargain. It was also a fantastic crowd pleaser — anyone that thinks Average Joe might not be a good judge of quality should try this wine: it jumps right out at you. Balanced, smooth, nuanced... it was a no-brainer. With only a hint of the mineral taste that Chateauneuf du Pape is famous for, this is a great way to get to know this AOC.
