Radio City Christmas Spectacular
No need to hit the Big Apple to see the Rockettes. They'll be live in DC for the first time Dec. 15-16 at the Patriot Center, and Dec. 18-20 at the Verizon Center.
The Nutcracker
The Kennedy Center is probably the best place to see it, but it's sold out already. Psych! So go see Young Frankenstein there instead, Dec. 15 - Jan. 10, which is going to be much more entertaining then a bunch of painted wooden kitchen tools jumping around. They also have a big holiday concert thing, too ... yawn. We're seeing Frankenstein.
National Menorah Lighting
Dec. 13, 4:00 p.m. at the Ellipse. Free, but you need tickets, unless you crash it like a White House dinner. They lit the national Christmas tree already, in case you were wondering.
